CIVIL ENGINEERING

The Department of Civil Engineering was started in the year 2008 with an intake of 60, which is subsequently raised to 120. The Department offers B. Tech in Civil Engineering, M. Tech in Structural Engineering and Diploma in Civil Engineering (DCE). The Department has all the infrastructural facilities required for imparting high quality education with well- equipped and sophisticated laboratories and is set to meet the present day needs of the society. The Department has qualified veteran and committed faculty and is ably supported by highly skilled and competent technicians to undertake testing and consultancy works. The Department has all modern facilities including CAD Laboratories with software like AutoCAD, STAAD pro, Auto DESK. The most modern surveying instruments like Electronic Total Stations were purchased as early as in 2010 which are helpful in carrying out Land Surveying and Topographical mapping.
